We welcome the Igueldo vessel after a new fishing campaign

Arrival of the Igueldo at the port of Marín for unloading at Marfrío.

We recently welcomed the arrival of the Igueldo vessel after completing a new fishing campaign in South Atlantic waters.

Unloading took place between May 21 and May 29, bringing a variety of high-quality species into our facilities for further distribution and commercialization.

Catching and onboard processing

During this campaign, the Igueldo unloaded the following products:

  • Patagonian squid
  • Hake
  • Bertorella
  • Pink cusk-eel (rosada)
  • Flying squid strips (vaina de pota)

All of them meet the quality standards that define our processes.

Captura y procesado a bordo

The vessel operates in waters near the Falkland Islands, a region known for the quality of its fishing resources.

The catch is processed, prepared, and blast-frozen onboard, ensuring it retains its original characteristics from the moment it is caught and guaranteeing a high-quality final product.
