New Marfrio vegan line: all the flavour of the sea, from a new perspective

At Marfrio, we continue to move forward in our commitment to innovation and quality. Today, we take an important step by presenting our new line of 100% plant‑based products, a proposal that allows us to reinterpret the flavour of the sea from a different perspective; more open and aligned with new consumption trends.

Marfrio quality, now also in a plant‑based version

We have spent decades working with the sea with respect and dedication, and that experience is what now drives us to explore new alternatives. We want to offer options that preserve the essence of our signature: flavour, texture and careful preparation.

That is why we have developed a plant‑based range that combines selected ingredients with our expertise in processes and coatings, to achieve a surprising result that is accessible to everyone.

Two new products to enjoy the sea in a different way

Crunchy rings

Bobinas veganas. Anillas crujientes estilo calamar y buñuelos de algas

Made with a konjac base and our own Marfrio battered, these rings stand out for their firm texture and crispy finish. A versatile alternative, designed for those looking for plant‑based options without giving up culinary enjoyment.

Seaweed fritters

Inspired by maritime tradition, these fritters combine seaweed with a light, tasty batter. A different proposal that brings the flavour of the sea closer from a plant‑based perspective.

Innovation with purpose

With this new line, we strengthen our commitment to diversification and sustainability. We want to accompany an increasingly conscious consumer, offering solutions that respect the environment and maintain the quality that defines us.

La Voz de Galicia has also highlighted these new products, reflecting the interest generated by our commitment to plant‑based alternatives.

We continue working to broaden our horizons, explore new possibilities and bring the flavour of the sea (also in a plant‑based version) to more homes and markets.
