Tuna poke bowl

Servings: 1

Time: 20 mins cooking + 2 hours seasoning

Level: beginner

A Poke Bowl is a dish of Hawaiian origin, characterized by its freshness.

A meal half between a salad and a complete combination plate on a nutritional level. Its portions are divided between carbohydrates (in this case rice), protein (in this case tuna) and vegetables, seasoned with seeds or nuts.

It was invented by fishermen, who seasoned the cuts of their catch, sitting in their boats.

Ingredients

For the tuna:

  • 1 Marfrio tuna fillet
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Soy sauce and vinegar
  • Lemon juice

For the side dish

1/2 cucumber
5-8 cherrys
1 carrot
1/4 red onion
1/2 avocado
1 serving of rice
Sesame seeds

Steps

For the tuna

Cut the tuna fillet into cubes and marinate with salt, oil, soy sauce, vinegar and lemon.

Mix and marinate between 20 minutes and 2 hours.

The longer you leave it, the tastier it will be.

For the side dish

While cooking the rice, you can prepare the rest of the vegetables.

Cut the cucumber and tomatoes into slices.

Scratch the carrot and slice the onion.

Cut the avocado into cubes.

Season the vegetables

Time to serve!

  • We cover 1/3 of the plate with rice.
  • The rest with vegetables
  • We put the marinated tuna fillet in the middle, cut in cubes
  • Season with soy sauce
  • Put sesame seed topping.

And we already have it. If you have guests it is so simple how to multiply the servings.
