Our products stand out for their quality and flavor. We don’t say it, it’s the tasting committee of the Taste Institute in Brussels (again).

For the thirteenth consecutive year, several Marfrío products have been awarded the Superior Taste Award 2025 by the prestigious International Taste Institute, based in Brussels.

This international recognition reaffirms our company’s commitment to excellence, highlighting the quality and flavour of our seafood products.

This year, the jury once again recognised four of our top products: Patagonian Squid, Giant Squid Tentacles, IQF Squid Rings, and IQF Squid Strips, evaluated through a blind tasting by over 200 chefs and sommeliers of international renown. Products are scored based on the five criteria of the Hedonic Sensory Analysis: visual aspect, aroma, flavour, texture, and final sensation.

The Superior Taste Award is considered one of the most respected global certifications of food quality. Receiving this award allows us to further differentiate ourselves in a highly competitive market, while reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards.
