At Marfrío, we have once again been internationally recognized for the quality and taste of our products following the recent Superior Taste Awards 2026, granted by the International Taste Institute in Brussels. We thus reaffirm our commitment to excellence, maintaining recognition for several of our most representative products. In this edition, our Patagonian Squid, Giant Squid Tentacles, IQF Breaded Squid Strips and IQF Squid Rings have once again been awarded, standing out for their sensory quality within their respective categories. The Superior Taste Award is one of the most prestigious international certifications in the food and beverage sector and is granted following a demanding sensory evaluation process carried out through blind tastings. In this edition, nearly 3,000 products were evaluated by an international jury composed of more than 250 chefs and sommeliers, who assess key aspects such as visual appearance, aroma, taste, texture and aftertaste. These awards certify different levels of taste excellence, positioning awarded products as benchmarks in their category. In a context where food innovation increasingly focuses on nutritional value, taste remains a decisive factor for consumer acceptance. For us, this recognition supports our strategy focused on quality, consistency and continuous improvement.
