Once again, the Marfrío team will be at Conxemar. From October 1st to 3rd, you can find us at stand 1A32, at IFEVI, Vigo. Marfrio receives the Superior Taste Award 2024 for the quality of its products
The International Taste Institute, based in Brussels, once again awards a prize to several of the products manufactured by Marfrío. In this edition, the Patagonian Squid, the Potón Tentacles, the IQF Raba and the IQF Potón Ring have been awarded. The “Superior Taste Award” recognition is a recognition of excellence in flavor. The award is awarded after a blind tasting, in which the jury, made up of more than 200 chefs and sommeliers from around the world (professional flavor experts) base their scores on the 5 criteria of the International Hedonic Sensory Analysis: visual, olfactory, gustatory , final sensation and texture. The “Superior Taste Award” certification is a seal of quality and indisputable prestige, as well as one of the main international awards. With this distinction, the company is able to strengthen the high quality standards that all Marfrío Group products follow, giving added value to the company’s products, rewarding work and allowing it to differentiate itself from the main competitors in such a global and competitive. Marfrío at the Barcelona Seafood Expo 2024
One more year, we will be present at the second edition of the Seafood Global Expo. From 23 to 25 April you can find us at stand 4C401, at Fira Barcelona, Gran Via Venue. We will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 6pm and Thursdays from 10am to 5pm. Some media have echoed it:

New quality award | Marfrio receives the ITQI award for 3 products
One more year, Marfrío receives the International Taste and Quality Institute awards in Brussels. The Patagonian squid receives the award, being the 10th year that the quality and flavor of this product has been recognized. While the new winners are battered sea caprices and giant squid tentacles Our whole Patagonian Squid has been awarded the Superior Taste Award with 2 Gold Stars, once again demonstrating its exceptional quality. While, the battered sea caprices and the Giant squid tentacles, have been awarded with the ITQI of 1 star. This recognition is awarded by an independent jury made up of more than 200 chefs and sommeliers from different parts of the world.Where, through a blind tasting, the following is assessed: the visual, olfactory, gustatory aspect, the final sensation and the texture. It is also an award recognized by institutions such as the Michelin Guide, the Repsol Guide and Gault & Millau.
