As of May 23, Marfrío employees will work at full capacity at its facilities in the Port of Marín to unload, classify and store the Patagonian squid caught during its last campaign, the first of this year. The squid, from the Falkland Islands, arrives in cold storage rooms with a temperature of minus 30 degrees below zero. For a week, Marfrío workers, who are joined by temporary employees during these days, unload the product, remove the residual ice, classify it by size and pack it in boxes for later distribution in the different European markets.
